Mission and Outreach

Highland Presbyterian Church puts its faith into action in a variety of ways.

Take a look at Ways We Serve to learn about the ways the church lives out its faith and how you can be a part of these ministries. These are ongoing, regular ministries of church. There are opportunities to serve at church (In-Reach), to serve locally (Outreach), and even participate in international mission through our Nicaragua Mission Team called the NUTS.

Check out ways to get involved in hands-on-mission through Volunteer Opportunities. Discover many ways to participate with other church members to reach out and serve locally, as well as special opportunities such as mission trips.

In 2013, the Session of Highland Presbyterian Church committed to the Louisville Food Principles. It is an ongoing project to intentionally source food locally, work for food sustainability and justice in our community around issues of hunger and access to whole food.

Highland Presbyterian Church and its members support mission partners with benevolence. HPC supports and works with local agencies, programs of support through the Presbyterian Church USA, and International partners who serve neighbors far away.
