Arts on the Corner Series

In the Fall of 2012, the inaugural season of Arts on the Corner offered music and arts events that were free and open to the public. Arts on the Corner was created in partnership between Worship and Spiritual Life Team and Music Ministries of Highland Presbyterian Church. Keeping with a long history of offering sacred music for worship, Arts on the Corner offers special opportunities for the public through recitals, concerts, sacred drama, dance, and special services of worship.  In order to support this exciting and fresh dimension of music thriving in the Highlands, a free will offering is taken at each event.

The Arts on the Corner series resumes on November 6, 2016 at 7:30 pm with this presentation in remembrance of All Saints Day. The work is given by the estate of Waller Braden, a longtime member of the Chancel Choir.

The Gift of Life: Six Canticles of Creation by John Rutter and three additional Rutter anthems; The Lord is My Light and My Salvation, Lord, Make Me an Instrument of Thy Peace, and Be Though My Vision.

Performed by the Highland Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir and Orchestra

There will be a reception following the performance.
