Bridge Club

Horizon’s Bible Study

The Presbyterian Women of Circle 7 meets the third Wednesday of each month at 3:00 pm in Treyton Oak Towers for study and fellowship. Cynthia Campbell leads the group. If you are interested, contact the church office 502-451-2910.

 

Community Friday

Each month a group of church members and friends meet Molly Malone’s Irish Pub at 933 Baxter Avenue. Come join us for dinner or a beverage. Everyone is welcome. The community gathers from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Babysitting is available between those times in the lower level of the Walker-Nevin Building.  For more information, contact Rev. Knit Wits
Knits Wits is a group of knitting-interested individuals who meet monthly in members’ homes on the first Tuesday of the month from 7 to 9 p.m.   It is an any-age friendly group where beginners and advanced are welcome as well as those doing needlework. The group welcomes new members or those who are simply curious.  For more information contact Ruth Spangler at 502-454-7944 or at ruth.spangler@gmail.com.

 

Men’s Pub Night

A Group of men gather the second Thursday of each month, at Monnik Beer Co. at 7:30 p.m. for conversation and good company.  No agendas. No RSVPs required.  For more information contact Ralph Bowling at 502-299-6079.

 

Momaritas

A group of mothers gather each month for conversation and margaritas at Havana Rumba on Bardstown Rd.  All moms of school-aged children are invited.   For more information contact Doodle Harris at doodle.harris@hpclouisville.org.

 

Older Wiser Learning Still (OWLS)

Theater Discussion Group

After plays that run at Actors’ Theater, a group gathers in a home for discussion of the play and often dinner (bring a dish to share). People see the play independently, then gather for great discussions. This group meets at various times through the year following a particular play’s run. WINGS (Women IN God’s Spirit)

WINGS is a group of women who meet the second Monday at 7:00 pm in a member’s home for fellowship and mutual support.  Each month a devotional is engaged either as a whole group or in small groups. WINGS is also active in mission through the collection of donation items for ministries like STITCH, Kentucky Refugee Ministries, and NUTS (Nicaragua Mission Team). Book Group

The Book Group meets the THIRD WEDNESDAY of the month. We meet at 10:00 in the Memorial Lounge for a convivial discussion, then go out to lunch at an area restaurant. Come join us!
