Sing with the Choirs
Chancel Choir leads music in worship most Sundays. As the primary adult choir, the focus of their singing is from August to the beginning of June each year. Under the leadership of the Director of Music Ministries, Thursday rehearsals are encouraging and enjoyable.
Youth in grades 10 through 12 participate in the Omega Choir each week during Youth Groups. They lead music in a variety of worship services and occasionally join the Alpha Choir and Chancel Choir for special anthems and services of worship.
Youth in grades 6 through 9 participate in the Alpha Choir each week during Youth Groups. They lead music in a variety of worship services and occasionally join the Omega Choir and Chancel Choir for special anthems and services of worship.
The children’s choirs sing by age group in three separate groups: Joyful Noise (4 years-old to Kindergarten), Hallelujah Choir (1st & 2nd Grade), and Lyric Choir (3rd, 4th & 5th Grade). Our delightful choir directors guide the children to experience their faith through learning music and nurture them to explore their role as leaders in worship.
Starting in June and continuing through August, Chancel Choir takes Sabbath and Summer Choir sings! Summer choir is a mixed youth and adult choir. The choir rehearses at 9:30am each Sunday before worship, leading into summer worship at 11:00am. If you love to sing and cannot commit to weekly Chancel Choir rehearsals, this is a great opportunity to participate in the choral ministries of the church.
